The third property to break ground for the Sonoran Developers was the Sonoran Sun Resort, which was started in 2004, and was completed in 2005. Once again the previous Spa and Sea owners were given a first chance to purchase by means of a lottery. With over 400 people in attendance, the East building sold out in a record breaking 3 hours! The Sonoran Sun Resort consist of 1, 2, and 3 bedroom oceanfront condo, garage and storage units, tennis court, day spa, convenience store, on-site property management team, internet center, fitness center, meeting room, Emiliano’s Restaurant and Cantina, 24 hour security, aqua bar, two swimming pools, and two family size Jacuzzis. The property has eight large water fountains and the “Zocalo” , which is a patio area located in the center of the resort and on the weekends music is played.
